Kayaking in Vietnam

Congratulations to 3rd year physiotherapy student Tim Hamlet who has been selected to go on the British Universities Kayaking Expedition 2009. Tim travelled recently to Wales for a selection weekend and was one of nine students selected from twenty invited.  The expedition plans to go to Vietnam in the summer of 2009 with a view to exploring and experiencing some new white water runs. Tim is regularly involved with GCU Kayak Club activities and was Students’ Association’s Coach of the Year in 2007/08.
