Student Leaders Awards Ball 2009

This year's Awards Ball promised to be bigger and better!!  For the first time in Student Leaders history, the Ball took place off campus!!    

The Student Leaders Awards Ball is a celebration of students' hard work and commitment to the Student Leaders Programme and their voluntary or mentoring role. 

Students celebrated their acheivements with fellow Student Leaders over a two course meal and a ceilidh.

The Pro Vice Chancellor and President of the Students' Association presented every student with their certificate.

Gordon Richardson, former Caledonian student, gave an insightful talk about his experiences as founder of Beanscene and emphasized the value of leadership and communication skills.

The winners of the Caledonian Student of the Year Award were announced for Bronze, Silver and Gold Level, each  receiving a trophy and an i-Pod. 

The overall winner, Angela McLaughlin was presented with the Glasgow Caledonian University Student of the Year Award at the Ball, receiving a trophy and a lunch with the Principal at Graduation.
