The STAR Awards
News flash! This year's STAR awards will be on Thursday 15 April.
Each year the GCU Students' Association recognises all the hard work and effort that is undertaken by volunteers in societies, welfare, Re:Union, Radio Caley, fundraising and the Caledonian Student Parliament to enhance the student experience at Caledonian.
These volunteers are the backbone of the Students’ Association, and without them the place would not exist. Despite being hard-working academics, they manage to devote enormous amounts of time to making Caledonian students’ university experience much easier, much happier, more sociable, more memorable and most importantly, more fun.
The Star Awards are a celebration of all of our volunteers, as well as these outstanding ones being awarded trophies.
The full guidelines for the nominations and judging process can be found here.
The Students' Association also runs annual sports awards and Student Leaders awards
