To be eligible for the Student Leaders Programme you must current be a registered GCU or GCU London student who is involved in a voluntary role within the university or in the local community. There are so many opportunities to volunteer so get involved in one of the following:
University Roles:
Please get in touch if you volunteer for the university in another capacity that is not listed above.
If you volunteer in the local community please also get in touch to arrange to join the Student Leaders Programme and receive accreditation for your community volunteering through the Students' Association.
The programme is split into 3 levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Everyone starts at Bronze level within which they are introduced to leadership and the fact that each and everyone has the opportunity to demonstrate leadership in the workplace, in volunteering on in any mentoring they may do.
To complete each level of the programme you required to complete just 4 elements
1. Volunteer and have attended either introductory training or an induction for this role.
1. A Leadership based seminar.
2. A Personal Development based seminar.
3 Complete a short online Reflective Journal.
