Welcome to Welfare
"Welfare exists to help students obtain accurate information on all the services and rights to which they are entitled and to provide support, mediation, advocacy and representation where appropriate".
Your Welfare is a number one concern for the Students’ Association. Our Welfare Department is here to help and support you through any problems that you experience whilst studying at GCU.
Located on the 1st floor of the Students' Association Building, the GCUSA Welfare Department provides a free, professional and confidential advice service for all GCU students.
Our 2 professional welfare advisers can offer support, information, advice and representation as appropriate on a wide range of issues from personal and financial problems, sexual health (including offering free condoms!) and accommodation issues to formal and informal academic procedures like special factors forms, academic appeals, plagiarism allegations, student disciplinaries and complaints.
